Jay Hansen
Chairman
Jay is a co-founder and Managing Partner of O2 Investment Partners, and a member of the Firm’s Investment Committee. He is a seasoned executive with more than 25 years of private equity, corporate development, and operating management experience. He has extensive acquisition, divestiture and investment experience in a variety of traditional manufacturing, technology, logistics and distribution businesses located in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, France, Germany, and Italy. Jay has also served in executive management roles for manufacturing and distribution businesses, including COO and CFO for both public and privately held companies with operations in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia and with revenues ranging from $100 million to more than $450 million. Jay serves on the Board of Directors of Alpha Precision Group, Packaging Concepts & Design, Mantis Innovation Group, and Flagstar Bank (NYSE: FBC). Luke Plumpton
Board Member
Luke is a private equity executive with over 17 years of M&A, investment banking and operational management team experience. He is responsible for evaluating, structuring, negotiating and financing transactions, as well as monitoring O2’s portfolio companies. Luke is a former Director of Strategic Planning for Hanford Pharmaceuticals, Senior Associate at Square 1 Bank and Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities (Healthcare Investment Banking Group). His experiences include leading companies through divestiture plans during the recession, publicly traded and private company deal facilitation for M&A, debt and equity transactions, and managing the build-out of a boutique venture debt bank. Luke serves on the Boards of O2’s portfolio businesses: First Class Air Holdings, Frontier Dental Super Holdings, Vessco Holdings, EIS Holdings, Mantis Innovation Group, and Packaging Concepts & Design. Luke received his BA in Economics from Harvard University, where he graduated with honors. While attending Harvard, Luke also studied Corporate Accounting at MIT’s Sloan Business School.
Isac Roths
Board Member
Isac Roths is a seasoned entrepreneur and CEO of First Class Air Support with locations in Louisville, Miami, and a sales office in London. He is also the CEO of a FAA 145 Cargo component-repair company.
With over twenty years of experience in the aviation industry, he has successfully bought and sold companies in both the aviation industry and other commercial industries, excelling in the fields of; manufacturing ground support tooling, FAA repair station operations, parts sales and distribution, aircraft teardowns, inventory, evaluations/consignment, and airline management consulting. He also serves on the Board of BBBS and is active in other charitable causes as well.
Randy J. Martinez
Board Member
Appointed Interim President and Chief Executive Officer on May 23, 2020 and a Director of MTS Systems Corporation since March 2014. Former Corporate Vice President of Strategy and Business Development for AAR Corporation (a provider of aviation services to the worldwide commercial aerospace and governmental/defense industries) from August 2015 to May 2017. Prior to this role, Mr. Martinez held other leadership roles within AAR, including Group Vice President, Aviation Services and President and Chief Executive Officer, AAR Airlift Group (March 2012 to August 2015) and Group Vice President, Government and Defense Services and Senior Vice President, Government and Defense Programs (2009 to 2012). Before joining AAR in 2009, Mr. Martinez was the Chief Executive Officer at World Air Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ). As a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, Mr. Martinez served with distinction in the U.S. Air Force for over 21 years, holding a wide variety of leadership roles, including both line command and senior staff positions.
Mr. Martinez currently serves on the Board of the National Defense Transportation Association (NDTA), serving as Chair for the Aviation Sector.
